⚠️HOW TO STAY FIT & HEALTHY ON A BUSY SCHEDULE?
(Or in other words how to organize your day)
✔️First advice is, of course, to PRIORITIZE YOUR HEALTH and well-being over everything else, you’ll be impressed how easy it becomes to make it to the gym when it’s a “must” for ya! If getting your workout session in is hard for you – get it done in the first part of the day so you feel successful.
✔️WAKE-UP QUICKLY. While it’s tempting to press that “snooze button”, you should remember that you want to SLAY your day, not sleep through it! So get up!
✔️START WITH MAKING YOUR BED. By doing this as the first task in the morning you will set every day up for success, bc now your brain is wired to complete tasks.
✔️DRINK WATER 💧 We often like to forget that it is a key to our well-being, drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, start by having 2 as soon as you wake up
✔️MEDITATE 🧘🏻♀️ Practice gratitude and stillness by showing your brain you are in control of your body. I use app “Breathe” for my meditations.
✔️COLD SHOWER 🚿Which is easy in summertime, wait until winter kicks in you’ll see that’s a true challenge for your mind and body. Once you overcome this task you will kill the rest of them 😉 🎉 BTW making a separate post about benefits of cold showers and 🔬science behind it
✔️SCHEDULE. Having a journal ✍🏻📓 is crucial. Start setting goals/tasks before you go to bed and reviewing them when you wake up. It gives a huge boost in productivity and efficiency! It’s a game changer, my friends.
✔️CHECK! End your day with a proud smile on your face by checking each box of the tasks you’ve accomplished.
✔️MEAL PREP. Once you start cooking 🥘 it’s so much easier to make bunch of meals at once then separately preparing single one of them.
✔️GROCERY SHOPPING 1-2 TIMES/WEEK. Load your fridge with whole foods; make sure you have plenty of healthy snacks and zero temptation to stop by and get bag of chips.
For all of the super-busy people out there I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this BOOK that has lots of life-hacks on time management – The 4 Hour Work Week 📖 by Tim Ferris (on the picture)
